This section introduces you to the concepts involved in extending the VA Smalltalk parts palette. You learn how to add and remove both categories and parts. The example in this section uses the Runner nonvisual part you built in Creating a reusable nonvisual part, but you can use any part. When you finish, you have a new Athletes category and a new Runner part on the parts palette.
