Select the DDE Server part to add a part that enables two applications on the same machine to exchange information. A Dynamic Data Exchange function can be used to update data used by one application whenever the data changes in another application.

The DDE Server part is used to exchange data with a DDE Client. The DDE Server part can exchange data with multiple clients. The DDE Client part, however, can only communicate with a single server.

To display the pop-up menu for the part, click with mouse button 2 on the part.

To further define the appearance and function of a part, double-click on it to open the properties window.
