Select the View Wrapper part to create a place holder for a window. For example, if you define a secondary window of an application in a separate view, you can have it represented on the free-form surface so that connections can be made to it from the view you are currently defining without having to include a complete instance of that view.

A View Wrapper part is very similar to a Variable part in that it serves as a place holder, however the View Wrapper part actually creates the view when needed whereas the Variable part must have its value supplied from an external source.

You must place this part on the free-form surface outside the bounds of parts from the Canvas category, such as Window and Form parts.

To display the pop-up menu for the part, click with mouse button 2 on the part.

To further define the appearance and function of a part, double-click on it to open the properties window.
