Select the Combo Box part to add a control that combines the functions of a Text part (entry field) and a List part (list of items through which the user can scroll). The user can then select items, or alternatively, type text directly into the entry field.

For example, you could use a Combo Box part in an order-entry application to list the most frequently ordered part numbers in the list and to enable the user to enter other part numbers in the entry field.

To display the pop-up menu for the part, click with mouse button 2 on the part.

To further define the appearance and function of a part, double-click on it to open the properties window.
