Select the Form Input Checker part to add a nonvisual part that acts as a filter for an event-to-action connection such that the connection is halted from firing if any data type errors are detected.

Use the Form Input Checker part when you want to validate user input in child parts of a form, window, group box, or other parent part. You can synchronize the point at which the form gets checked for errors with a certain event, such as the clicking of a push button.

You must place this part on the free-form surface outside the bounds of parts from the Canvas category, such as Window and Form parts.

To display the pop-up menu for the part, click with mouse button 2 on the part.

To further define the appearance and function of a part, double-click on it to open the properties window.
